1) Assignment Objective:What was the objective of the assignment? The objective of the assignment was to take a tutorial from the list, use our own picture instead of the stock photo, and change the tutorial so that it is still a resemblance of the original image, but incorporates the skills we know as well as to push ourselves to make the final product different than the tutorial.
2) What I learned and the tools/methods used: What did you learn with this assignment? This could be tools learned, functions learned, time-saving tricks, troubleshooting, etc... I learned how to use different effects more in depth, as well as I leaned the "liquify" tool.
3) Strengths of this work:What do you feel are the strengths of your finished piece? I think that I did a good job at making the effect carry through in a similar way through the wood the bird is on, up through the bird, and through the head.
4) Challenges with assignment:What do you feel was the biggest challenge(s) for you regarding this piece? The biggest challenge was taking the tutorial and changing it. Also, adding my own image was difficult, because the angles of everything and the colors didn't always line up quite right, so they took some fiddling.
